The best wind resources in Europe

2008 was the best year ever, with 909 MW of new capacity installed. The cumulative capacity by the year 2013 is expected to be 14.363 MW. This will make UKthe third largest market in Europe after Germanyand Spainin 2013. Around 4.000 MW of the cumulative capacity is expected to come from offshore plants.
