FACTS: WIND POWER IN DENMARK
Denmark has a higher proportion of wind power in its power station mix than any other country in the world. It is expected to increase from about 20% of electricity demand now to 30% by 2012. Danish-made wind turbines are world leaders, setting the benchmark for design and efficiency.
