Spain is currently the third largest market in the world and the second largest in Europe. Spain installed 1.739 MW in 2008, a major decline from the year before when 3.100 MW was recorded. However, the growth is expected to pick up.
The cumulative capacity by the end of 2013 is expected to be 28.000 MW.
